Serving the Township

On April 9, 2013, I was elected Clerk of South Rock Island Township, and assumed office on May 20, 2013, becoming the first Democrat to hold the position since the Township was created in the 19th Century.
Our Township offers many services for all residents, including the young, elderly, poor, and handicapped. The new Supervisor, Grace Shirk, and I have been working diligently to improve our Township.
As Clerk I am charged with keeping all documents and making sure the work of the Township is transparent and accessible. Please visit the official page for the Office of the Town Clerk to learn more about our Township and its services.

The Town Clerk administers the Oath of Office to the Township Officers at the beginning of their terms. In the picture above I am (far right) giving the Oath to Trustees (from left to right) Kim Shuda, Frank Skafidas, Mark Parr Jr, and Louis Alongi.
