VOTE 2012: Election Information.

As part of my goal in the Camlin Five Point Plan to help citizens become involved in their government, I am pleased to publish this information on the 2012 General Election. It is my hope that this information makes it easier for constituents to exercise their most sacred right-- voting in our democracy!

YOUR VOTE IS YOUR VOICE  

Election Day is November 6, 2012 


Early Voting at the County Clerk’s Office* is quick, easy and convenient. Vote early Monday-Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM, now until November 3. Also on Saturday, October 27 & November 3, 9 AM to Noon.

Vote-By-Mail is a convenient, postage-prepaid option for out-of-town college students, those planning vacations, the disabled, or even those who just want to vote from the comfort of their home. For a Mail-In/Absentee Ballot Application, please call me at 738-3697, or call the Clerk’s Office*. The last day to request an Absentee Ballot is Thursday, November 1.

Grace Period voter registration is for citizens to register or re-register at their current address and vote at the same time for the Election. The grace period is from now until November 3, at the County Clerk’s Office*, Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM, and on Saturdays from 9 AM to Noon.

November 6, 2012: Polling Stations open from 6 AM to 7 PM.

Precinct RI 13 @ South Park Presbyterian Church, 1501 30th Street, Rock Island.

Precincts SRI 7, 8, 9 & 10 @ Tri-City Jewish Center, 2715 30th Street, Rock Island.

Precinct Mo 5 @ Bethany Baptist Church, 700 35th Avenue Place, Moline.
