The job of the Clerk is to keep Township records, take minutes, and to handle intergovernmental exchanges, thus ensuring that the work of the Township is transparent. Why Nick Camlin for Township Clerk? As Clerk I’ll make sure the Township’s work is done openly and honestly. As a County Board ![]() Can you have both positions? Both positions are part-time. One can serve both as a County Board member and a Town Clerk. While the position of County Board is a policy-making office (setting tax levies, establishing budgets, creating policy, etc.), the position of Town Clerk is an administrative office (keeping records and minutes, and handling intergovernmental exchanges, etc.). I think it would be a strength for me to serve in positions that can potentially lead to cooperative endeavors between the Township and the County.
